(WHAS11) -- Kentucky and Louisville fans are counting down the days until the Governor's Cup on September 2.
Kroger Company is celebrating the football rivalry by sponsoring a Governor’s Cup week.
The Governor's Cup luncheon is Thursday at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville. On Wednesday night there was a reception and auction for the big game at the Muhammad Ali center in Louisville.
