LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville fans have had a whirlwind last few days. From beating Rutgers to clinch a share of the Big East Championship, then learning they'd be headed to New Orleans to play Florida in the Sugar Bowl, they've also been dealing with swirling rumors about coach Charlie Strong and his possible connection to coaching vacancies at Auburn and Tennessee.

Auburn hired a head coach Tuesday but Tennessee had not and Strong seemed to fuel the fire with Monday's comments that he wouldn't yet commit to coaching Louisville in 2013. He also called out the fans for not supporting the team as much as arch rival Kentucky.

Tuesday multiple media reports said Strong was Tennessee's top coaching candidate. Strong said he wouldn't talk about what are rumors.
