LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Bats open their 14th season Thursday night at Slugger Field.

Tuesday, the boys hit the field for practice, getting ready for the new season. Among the roster this year is base-stealing sensation Billy Hamilton and a new head coach. Coach Jim Riggleman said he's pumped about his team.

The Bats will be giving away magnetic schedules to the first 2,000 fans through the gates Thursday. There will be other give-a-ways as well. The first pitch goes out at 6:35 p.m.
