(WHAS11) -- The Summer Olympics are about a month away and Louisville native Muhammad Ali will be there.

A sports charity says boxing great Muhammad Ali will attend a gala in London in his honor two days before the Summer Olympics.

Ali won gold at the 1960 Rome Olympics when he was known as Cassius Clay.
