(WHAS11) - A Bullitt East football player who suffered a brain injury during a football game is now out of the hospital.
It happened last month during a JV football game.
Jesse Bratcher has been released from University Hospital and is expected to attend a pep-rally at Bullitt East.
Bratcher underwent emergency surgery after coaches noticed he seemed to be in a daze during that game last month.
