4-star UofL football signee facing sex-related felony charges

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (WHAS11)-- A 4-star University of Louisville football signee has now been charged with a felony in relation to a sex-related crime.

According to the arrest report Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammad had sex with his 14-year-old cousin and got her pregnant last year when he was 17-years-old.

According to the statement in the police report, the incident happened while the victim was visiting family in June of 2013, in Fort Pierce, Fla.

The victim's mother became suspicious when the victim became hungry all the time, purchasing a prenancy test for her daughter.

The fetus was tested after an abortion and the paternity test said that Rhaheed-Muhammad had a 99.999999832 percent chance that he was the father.

Rhaheed-Muhammad is also accused of touching his cousin inapproprately when she was 11, according to the arrest report, back in 2010. The victim also alleges he touched her inapproprately in May of 2013, but she was too afraid to say anything.

Rhaheed-Muhammad signed to play for the Cards and Petrino on National Signing Day.

He is charged with committing a lewd  and lavacious behavior with a victim between the age of 12 and 16.
