LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Louisville has announced the continuation of its football series with Houston for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
The Cardinals will host the Cougars on Sept. 12, 2015 and travel to Houston for a Nov. 19, 2016 game to be played in the school's 40,000-seat facility set to be finished next year.
The schools will play at Louisville on Nov. 16 in their only matchup as members of the startup American Athletic Conference. Eighth-ranked Louisville (6-0, 2-0) is headed to the Atlantic Coast Conference next season.
Louisville won the previous meeting 65-27 in a 2004 Conference USA game at Houston to even the series 7-7.
