Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Carroll and Owen County in KY until 11:00pm
(WHAS11) -- There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for most of Kentuckiana, including metro Louisville.
Conditions will be warm and muggy through Thursday. A front will stall out and trigger showers/storms from time to time through Wednesday. A few storms could be locally strong/severe with hail and wind the main threats.
Thursday will be very warm and mainly dry (just a slight chance for a pop-up pm shower/storm) as the front pushes north. A strong cold front will bring a line of strong/severe storms into the region early Friday morning, then cooler temperatures. Mid-upper 50s Friday-Saturday. Cool sunshine for Thunder Over Louisville, high 57. Dry Sunday - with mid 60s Sunday, low 70s Monday. So, an unsettle workweek, but a cool and dry weekend.
