LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Some traffic relief coming your way if you travel east on Highway 22 near Hurstbourne Lane during the evening rush.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is changing the traffic flow back to what it was. Some of the striping there is already coming up across from the Paddock Shops (formerly the summit).
Traffic was recently reduced to one through lane, with the right lane a right turn only, and traffic was backing up in the evening hours.
The cabinet adjusted the signal timing but even after that, it has now decided to go back to the original traffic plan.
That means the right lane can be used for a through lane or a right turn. New striping is expected in the coming weeks.
