This year's Thunder Over Louisville theme pays homage to the small screen

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The theme of this year's biggest fireworks display was revealed as "Thunder Vision," Monday morning.

The entertainment geared theme will include a soundtrack for the show made up of television show theme songs from the past and present.

This will be the 24th Thunder show and organizers say they are prepared for it to be is spectacular as ever.

There have been some concerns raised over the air show given potential military budget cuts, but show organizers say they have plenty of civilian air crafts to fill in should that become an issue.

There are still so many thunder details to be revealed and you'll hear them first on WHAS11 since we will are your official Thunder station!  The show is on April 20 and WHAS11 will be broadcasting it live.

There will be five sponsors of Thunder Over Louisville, the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Opening Ceremonies, this year.  Four long time sponsors are returning in 2013 – Horseshoe Southern Indiana, LG&E, Meijer and UPS – and they are joined by newcomer KentuckyOne Health.
