VERSAILLES, Ind. (WHAS 11)— Three people were arrested Jan. 15 in an ongoing meth investigation in Versailles, Ind.

Rebecca McGuire, Joseph Keith and Douglas Estell are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of precursors.

Versailles town marshal, Joe Mann, said he received a tip of a possible meth activity at the Moonlight Motel. Mann and Tpr. Brent Miller set up surveillance on the room being used for the alleged illegal activity after tip was made.

According to the news release, Miller and  another trooper, Brian Earls, did a “stop and knock” and made contact with the occupants of the room. The troopers said during the visit several items related to the manufacture of methamphetamine were observed in plain view.

The officers applied a search warrant and thoroughly searched the room - collecting numerous items utilized in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
