HENRYVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Subway restaurant destroyed in the March 2nd tornado that hit Henryville officially opens back up Wednesday morning.
The Subway was inside a Marathon gas station, which was leveled by the EF-4 tornado.
It took nearly a year to rebuild.
On Tuesday afternoon, employees held a "free food fest" to give away sandwiches to anyone in Henryville, as they continue to recover from the storms.
The gas station just reopened last week.
