(WHAS11) -- It appears Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels might have a new job lined up when his term is up in January.
The Indianapolis Star is reporting that the governor will become the next president of Purdue University.
The board of trustees will vote on Thursday. Daniels term is up in January and the current president of Purdue will be leaving the school on July 15.
It all comes after speculation that he would run for president this year, but Daniels said that wouldn't happen.
