WASHINGTON CO., Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Washington County, Ind. council candidate is in trouble with the law after police said he crashed a car while driving under the influence.
The accident happened Sunday just after 10 a.m. on Delaney Park Road at the entrance of Delaney Park. Police said Eric D. Worley of Campbellsburg was transported to the hospital and was arrested after his release.
Police charged Worley with OWI with a controlled substance, OWI refusal, dealing marijuana, possession of a controlled substance schedule IV and possession of paraphernalia.
