JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A health care insurance company is hiring for a new facility at the River Ridge Commerce Center.
Connextions announced they are looking to fill 300 positions for its new Jeffersonville complex.
Tuesday, the company gave a tour of the building. One of the guests, Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore, spoke about the company’s impact on the city’s economy.
“We are in the middle of an explosion of youth,” Moore said. “All of these new employees are going to need to eat at restaurants. They're going to need to bank. They're going to need to get their haircut, shop in the store, the grocery store. Everything is going to be a domino effect from these new employees.”
A Connextions spokesperson said they are taking applications at its location in the River Ridge Commerce Center or online.
