Churchill Downs says the day finished with record on-track wagering and all sources wagering.
There were significant increases over previous records.
Oaks Day had the second highest attendance record in race history with nearly 114,000 people on hand at the famed track.
Princess of Sylmar won the 139th Kentucky Oaks with a purse totaling $589,000.
