SPARTA, Ky. (WHAS11) -- It's the weekend Kentucky racing fans have been looking forward to since last year as NASCAR returns to the Kentucky Speedway.

The days leading up to the Quaker State 400 are upon us and Speedway officials said they are not expecting any traffic trouble this year.

“I spent most of last year talking about traffic and this year I’m glad we're talking about racing and what's happening on the race track,” Kentucky Speedway general manager Mark Simendinger said.

The green flag drops Thursday 8 p.m. for the NCWTS UNOH 225. Friday the NNS Feed the Children 300 at 7:30 p.m., and the NSCS Quaker State 400 Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
