LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Recordings have been released that give details into the case of a woman who allegedly attempted to hire an undercover FBI agent to kill her ex-husband.

Elizabeth Stakelbeck, 34, was arrested on August 20 after a seven day sting operation and is still being held at Metro Corrections on a $250,000 bond.

The recordings reveal that Stakelbeck was willing to pay cash, exchange prescription pills and even sex for the killing of her former husband and his current wife, according to police.

“We can barter,” she said in the recordings.

Prosecutors said she continued to promote the killing, even after the undercover agent reminded her that a grim murder, such as this, is a very serious crime.

“This is forever.  When I take care of him and I kill this man he ain’t never coming back.  That’s a little girl’s daddy,” the undercover agent can be heard saying in the recordings.

Stakelbeck said she was in the midst of a custody battle.

She is the daughter of the owner of Z’s Salon and Spa.  Stakelbeck is due in court for a pre-trial conference on October 3.
