LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police say a man has been charged with disorderly conduct after he threatened staff at a local addiction recovery center Sunday.

Police were called to the Healing Place in the 1000 block of West Market Street after staff members with the organization say 35-year-old Dylan Nolan was showcasing erratic behavior.

According to the report, Nolan screamed and threatened staff with a lacrosse stick later fleeing before police arrived.

Police later caught up to Nolan in the intersection of Brook and Liberty Streets. Police say due to the nature of the run and his unknown mental status, they were just going to take the stick.

After police attempted to take the lacrosse stick away from Nolan, they say a short struggle ensued causing them to wrestle him to the ground.

He was apprehended and booked at Metro Corrections.
