LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) One store is celebrating its centennial on Monday.

Rodes got its start in Downtown Louisville back in 1914, which is the game year that Babe Ruth made his Major League Baseball debut.

The fashion shop celebrated with food, fashion and giveaways. They also recognized their oldest living customer, Anne Shapira, who began shopping with Rodes back in 1950.

The store is now located in east Louisville, across the street from Holiday Manor.
