LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man was arrested at PRP High School after police said he was trying to steal copper.

Shane Black, 37, was arrested on the campus on Greenwood Road late Monday night.

Police said an officer watched him walk onto campus then put a bag that was in his hands into a flower bed and sat down next to it.  Police say the officer walked toward black who then walked away without the bag.

Black was arrested for an outstanding warrant and when the officer searched the bag, he found a hammer, a pry tool, wire snips and at least three feet of copper.

Police say he wouldn't tell the officer where the copper came from.

Shane Black is charged with criminal trespassing and possession of burglary tools.
