(WHAS11) -- As a juvenile, Herbert Lee III was convicted in 2010 for killing four teens who were riding in a car Lee had stolen and crashed. At age 20 he was back in court in the Jefferson County Judicial Center.
Lee was formally arraigned Monday, charged with receiving stolen property worth more than $10,000 and driving without a license.
Family members of the victims who died in the 2008 crash say Lee's new charges have been painful for them.
"Everybody's had their moment of tears, because it just reopened everything,” Franklin Shields, the father of Aaron Shields who was killed in the car crash, said. “It took us back to the wake being on Christmas."
Lee is accused of receiving a stolen car from the Avis car rental lot at the Louisville International Airport more than a week ago.
His trial has been set for March 13.
