LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man is facing multiple charges after police said he was found walking on Eastern Parkway carrying 10 stolen signs.
Police said Ron Liebermann was arrested around 8:30 Wednesday night in the 2000 block of Eastern Parkway. Police said they were called to the area on a report that a man was stealing "Size Matters" and "Willow Grande" signs from resident's yards.
Once the officer found Liebermann holding the signs and began questioning him, police said Liebermann become irate and tried to walk away. The officer grabbed Liebermann but he was able to turn around into a fighting stance. The subject then ran after the officer tried to put handcuffs on him a second time.
Assisting officers were able to arrest Liebermann after a brief foot pursuit.
Liebermann is charged with menacing, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and fleeing or evading police.
