LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Authorities said the Kentucky pastor accused of a triple murder in Danville may have tried to commit suicide.

Kenneth Keith is charged with murder in connection with the deaths of ABC Gold & More pawn shop owners Mike and Angela Hockensmith and one of their customers. Police said they believe an ongoing feud led to the Sept. 20 shooting.

A spokesperson for the Pulaski County Detention Center said when Keith arrived at the jail he had a laceration to his neck which he received treatment for before being booked.

According to Keith’s records, the cut was described as “suicidal ideation,” a medical term for thoughts about suicide.

Keith is currently being held without bond and expected to appear in court again next month.
