FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Frankfort Police Department's investigation of drug trafficking activity resulted in the arrest of four people at Prince Hall Village Apartments last week.

According to police, officers entered the property with a search warrant and found a substantial amount of prescription pills and more than $20,000 in cash.

Antonio Edwards, 37, was charged with four counts of trafficking in a controlled substance as well as contempt of court. The charges Edwards faces resulted from a 2012 investigation.

James Douglas, 28, was charged with marijuana possession.

Omar Bridgeforth, 33, was charged with 3rd degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Stephanie Jackson, 31, was charged with 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Edwards, Douglas and Bridgeforth are from Detroit, Michigan, and Jackson is from Frankfort. All four were taken to the Franklin County Regional Jail.

The Frankfort Police Department is still pursuing this investigation, and additional charges are pending.
