Today: Scattered showers and storms, some locally strong to severe. Strongest storms 2-8pm. High, 80. SW winds at 10-20 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and drying out, low 62.
Discussion: A cold front crossing the area brings more scattered showers/storms this afternoonnoon and some of them could be strong to severe. Main threats... gusty winds, hail, locally heavy rain and lightning. This will not be a major severe weather event. A few leftover showers possible Thursday especially in the afternoon. Cooler weather soon, with highs near 80 today, then low 70s Thursday-Friday. Mainly dry and comfortable this weekend in the low-mid 70s. A front will set-up to our north Sunday and Monday, and a few pop-up showers/storms will be possible, mainly in Indiana. Warming to 80 for Memorial Day, then mid 80s next Tuesday.
