LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The coroner has released the name of a man who was found in the Ohio River earlier this week.
The coroner's office said 47-year-old Leland DeGeest drowned in the river.
His body was found in the river around 3:30 p.m. Monday near the Portland Canal.
Officials said they believe DeGeest was homeless.
