LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A plan is now in the works to renovate the International Convention Center in downtown Louisville. The plan was brought up at the State Fair Board meeting Thursday morning.
The plan would consist of re-configuring the building and space that already exists.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau hired a company to do a study to determine if the current building could be reconfigured.
The last time a renovation was done to the convention center was back in the year 2000.
They are in phase one of the current project but do hope to possibly start work at the end of 2014 or early 2015.
