NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- We are still waiting to find out how a mother and her two children ended up dead in a New Albany creek.

Police are calling the investigation a homicide, but we don't know how they were killed or how they ended up in Binford Park. The Kentucky Medical Examiner is waiting on toxicology reports to return from a state lab to determine the exact their exact cause of death.

We do know more about why they moved to Southern Indiana three months ago. The family’s pastor at Greater Faith Church said husband Mike Clutter moved his wife Jaime, 10-year-old Brandon and 6-month-old Kaitlyn from Seattle back in December for a job.

A news conference is schedule for 3 p.m. Friday where police are expected to update the media on their investigation. WHAS11 will have a reporter at the briefing and we will bring you the latest information on whas11.com and during the evening newscasts.
