LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is facing charges after an altercation with his neighbor over rabbits.
According to a police report, 64-year-old Rodney D. Wold confronted his neighbor who was shooting rabbits that were getting into his garden.
Police said the neighbor admitted he was using an air gun to shoot the rabbits from his back porch. When Wold witnessed the act he went into his home and armed himself with an AK-47 rifle.
The victim told police Wold came out of the home and pointed the rifle at him, saying "if you want to hunt something, you can hunt men."
Police arrived at the scene and Wold gave officers consent to search his home. Officers said they found the rifle between a mattress and box springs. Wold admitted to officers he armed himself and confronted his neighbor, police said.
Wold is charged with wanton endangerment.
