SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Kentucky Court of Appeals has agreed with a lower court that a Shelby County man should not get any financial damages from the doctor who amputated part of his penis.

Phillip Seaton of Waddy, Kentucky sued Dr. John Patterson for removing the organ without consent.

Patterson says he found cancer in Seaton's penis during surgery for circumcision and that it had to be removed. Seaton sued but a Shelby County jury ruled in the doctor's favor.
