Adam Lefkoe

Adam Lefkoe comes to WHAS11 News from Hastings, Nebraska. There he was a news and sports reporter, as well as fill-in anchor.
From the Big XII Championship Game to storm chasing, Adam had the opportunity to cover almost everything in the Cornhusker State. He took home a number of awards in the process, including AP Awards for best sports reporting and general news.
His television career began at Syracuse University, where he majored in Broadcast Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications.
While in college, Adam interned at WSTM-TV, ESPN Radio in Atlantic City, and the NFL Network in Culver City, California.
He grew up in Holland, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, and remains loyal to a number of sports teams from the area.
In his free time, Adam enjoys wrestling alligators, climbing mountains, and pretending to do a number of other impressive activities.
