(WHAS11) -- The makers of "FarmVille" and "Words with Friends" are shutting down many of their popular games because of budget-cuts.
Zynga announced it is closing games such as "PetVille" and "Mafia Wars Two." Most of the games being shut down run on Facebook. Click here for a complete list of the games that will be shutting down.
The move is upsetting the million players who actively use those games each day.
