AFGHANISTAN (WHAS11) -- At least nine people were killed in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan just hours after America's new defense chief arrived in the country.
It happened right outside the Afghan Defense Ministry in Kabul. A Taliban chief has claimed responsibility and says it is meant as a warning to United States Defense Secretary, Chuck Hagel, who is in the capitol city this weekend.
Hagel was not near the attack site, but more than a dozen civilians were wounded.
