BAGHDAD (AP) — Violence has claimed 20 more lives in Iraq today.

Officials say in one attack, gunmen broke into the home of a Health Ministry employee in a town north of Baghdad, killing him, his wife, two sons and a 10-year old daughter as they slept.

In northern Baghdad, police say a bomb attached to a bus killed two commuters. A similar bomb killed three people in the Shiite neighborhood of Sadr city.

Car bombs elsewhere in Baghdad killed at least seven.

In the northern city of Mosul, a roadside bomb missed an army patrol but killed two civilians, and a female TV presenter was shot dead as she walked near her house.

At least 224 people have died in attacks across the country so far this month, according to an Associated Press count.
