Two men to face judge in Gynnya McMillen case

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two men charged with misconduct following the death of 16-year-old Gynnya McMillen will face a judge Friday.

Victor Holt and Reginald Windham are both former employees at the Lincoln Village Detention Center and both have been charged with misconduct following her death in January. Medical officials say she died from an underlying heart condition.

Just this week, McMillen's family filed a lawsuit against staff members claiming they covered up lapses in proper care.

Several employees have since resigned or were fired.
