LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Twitter is investigating the breach of thousands of accounts.
The good news is that most of them appear to be hacked by spam handles.
A hacking news and activist hub called Air Demon sent a message online saying 55,000 accounts were compromised.
The also posted a link to a pasting site were the users names and passwords for those accounts were visible.
Twitter said it is looking into the situation and has pushed out password resets to impacted accounts.
