(WHAS11) -- Looking to buy a big TV before the big game? You may be in luck.
The Super Bowl can lead to super sales, if you know where to look.
It's one of the biggest TV events of the year. And according to consumer reports, the lead up to the Super Bowl is one of the best times to be in the market for a TV.
But don't be blinded by a great price. Rob Gregory of Best Buy says customers should answer some questions before they get in the store.
“What's the size that they can accommodate, where the TV is going. That will actually give us a little insight as to what TV I will direct you to. They should also know what they're looking for as far as do I want to have that 3D capability,” Gregory said.
In addition to 3-D, he also asks consumers if they want to stream movies and music from the web and about other sources.
And for peace of mind on pricing, ask if your retailer offers a price guarantee.
