White House Christmas decorations through the administrations
The official White House Christmas tree was displayed in the Blue Room of the White House during a press tour of the holiday decorations in Washington, DC, on December 2, 2009, during President Barack Obama's first Christmas in the White House. The Douglas Fir was lit with environmentally friendly LED lights and decorated with more than 800 ornaments from previous White House administrations.
