Two semis collide on I-65 near Brooks Road Exit

Around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday a major crash occurred on I-65 northbound near the Brooks Road exit.  The interstate was shut down to one lane overnight, but all lanes were reopened Thursday morning.

Police said two tractor trailers collided just north of the Brooks Road exit at mile marker 128.

Traffic was moving extremely slowly overnight and a detour was set up from the Brooks Road exit.  

No injuries were reported related to this accident and police continue to investigate what caused this accident.
