PokéCon underway in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Anime is taking over the Crowne Plaza Hotel this weekend, it's PokéCon,  and organizers are expecting the biggest crowd ever.

The conference was founded as a way to give anime fans access to anime, cosplay and gaming.

This is the third straight year the convention has been in Louisville.

Events are going on until midnight, Friday, July 19, hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to midnight and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

A three-day pass is $35 but day passes are available.
