The star of classic chick flicks like "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost," heartthrob Patrick Swayze was a natural for Sexiest Man Alive in 1992. His 30-year television and film career ended after he was diagnosed in January 2008 with late-stage pancreatic cancer. His death in September 2009 broke the hearts of fans worldwide.
