Farnoosh Torabi, host of Financially Fit on Yahoo! Finance, conducted an informal price check of items and came up with this list of items better bought at warehouse clubs.

Cereal: From Raisin Bran, to Honey Nut Cheerios, to Frosted Flakes you can save as much as 60%. At the big box store a 62oz box of Frosted Flakes runs $6.74 , or 11 cents per ounce. Meanwhile, at a neighboring grocery store, a tiny 14oz box went for $3.21 or 23 cents per ounce.
