For one of the liveliest and longest-running St. Patrick's traditions, head to Chicago. Arrive early to get the best spots for the parade Saturday, March 16. The celebration starts at 10 a.m. as the river is dyed green at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive, followed at noon by a parade through Grant Park.
