Photos: Fiery crash in Texas destroys $500K in new Cadillacs

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a driver in an SUV struck a smaller sedan from behind on the frontage road. The SUV then plowed into the dealership where it caught fire. At least $500,000 in damage was reported.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (Gannett Affiliate) –- Three women were sent to the hospital following a crash that destroyed several brand new vehicles at a northside car dealership.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at Tom Peacock Cadillac along the North Freeway near Richey Road.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a driver in an SUV struck a smaller sedan from behind on the frontage road. The SUV then plowed into the dealership where it caught fire.

About $500,000 in damage was reported.
