BALWIN ON END OF "30 ROCK"

NEW YORK (AP) -- Alec Baldwin is surprised he's made it to the end of "30 Rock." He was ready to quit after the fifth season. Baldwin tells Rolling Stone that the show had hit "a low point" because the writing had gotten "anemic." But he returned for season six and he says that one was "really good." Now, he's made it to the final season, which ends on January 31st. Baldwin says he knew Tina Fey was also ready to leave after seven seasons. He says she's been "wiped out" ever since having her second child in 2011.
