CHICAGO (AP) -- Ingrid Michaelson acknowledges she's just famous enough that some people know her -- and not famous enough for everyone to know her. Michaelson says she's reluctant to tell strangers she's a musician, because they want to know if she's done anything they've heard of. Her response: "Probably not." When they push and Michaelson explains what songs they might know, she says they inevitably have not heard of those songs and it's a big disappointment. Michaelson says it's easier to keep it vague when someone asks and she'll say she does "industry stuff."
