WHAS11 cautions viewers that some of the images are graphic
(WHAS11) - Ten years ago on September 11th, five people from WHAS11 were sent to cover the sad, shocked and angry Americans in New York after the terrorist attacks.
Recently photojournalists Pete Longton and Phil Dunaway sat down with WHAS11’s Melissa Swan to talk about those days.
They were there with former WHAS reporter George Sells and our current Chief Photographer Dan Chesser.
This is the first time they have ever discussed how covering such a tragic event affected them then and remains with them still.
