(WHAS11) -- It appears the race for a House seat in South Carolina could get very popular.
On Friday it was announced Stephen Colbert’s sister Democrat Elizabeth Colbert-Busch will run for the congressional seat.
And earlier this week former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford said he's running.
Sanford's political career was derailed after he disappeared for several days and admitted to having an affair in 2009.
There are about a dozen other people running in the race.
