Yarmuth touts ACA; says Kentucky may stand out from repercussions

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)— A government initiative that has been plagued with setbacks and complaints, may yet have another impending delay.

The Affordable Care Act has had its share issues and today White House officials have announced that small businesses will not be able to buy insurance through the struggling HealthCare.gov website until next year.

The shaky roll-out could be spelling trouble for Democrats in upcoming elections.

However, John Yarmuth, a Kentucky congressman from Louisville, said that due to the Commonwealth’s success in implementing the ACA rollout, it could be a different story in Kentucky.
